Seeking help can be daunting, and reaching out for support takes a lot of courage.

Feeling anxious or uncertain about therapy is expected, as it involves opening up about personal experiences and emotions. I am here to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore why you feel how you feel and help you work out how to change the things troubling you for a happier life.

Are you dealing with difficult or painful emotions preventing you from enjoying life?

Are negative feelings overwhelming you and reducing your personal effectiveness and life satisfaction?

I recognise that your relationship with me, feeling my empathy and being heard and understood without fear of criticism, is crucial for your healing and personal growth. During our sessions, I will listen to as much or as little as you wish to share for as long as possible. We can delve into your past, exploring the various environments, events, and relationships that have shaped and influenced your growth. By listening to the stories you share with me – whether they are sad, heart-warming, or routine – we will begin to piece together a picture of the ideas and beliefs that have been instilled in you and how they impact your life.

What have you learned about love, family, comfort, and pain? What messages have you received about relationships? Worrying about providing too much detail, taking too long, or omitting something important is natural.

However, there is no right or wrong way to approach this process. What you choose to exclude can be as significant as what you include. The narratives we allow into our minds can either uplift or break us down. The actual events hold less importance than the meanings we derive from them.

Therapy involves making sense of our experiences, and as we explore the stories we tell ourselves and have been told by others, we can uncover new understandings that will enable us to learn how to change beliefs and attitudes and facilitate powerful, transformative healing to experience peace, love, joy, happiness, and success.

Counselling and Psychotherapy With Me

What Counselling and Psychotherapy Can Help With

Many individuals seek therapy to address various challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, family conflicts, grief, and the desire for personal growth.

A Team Approach

I’ve learned that working collaboratively with each client to build a strong therapeutic relationship is the key to success.

Therapy That Empowers

My approach to helping clients involves assisting them in identifying and addressing aspects of their lives that may have gone unnoticed but are holding them back. By bringing these hidden factors to light, we can work together to overcome them. This allows for the breakdown of complex emotions and experiences into manageable pieces to process, enabling a sense of empowerment to move forward and be happy.
